2007 Events Chronology February A meeting of the Euro-Asian Region Bible Societies General Secretaries took place in Minsk. The questions of cooperation and development were discussed. D-r John Fr. Elwolde, UBS translating consultant, visited the Bible Society with a view of giving consultancy to the staff involved in the project of translating the Holy Scriptures into Belarusian. May Trip to Mozyr: visiting the pre-school children's home and correction-and-exercise training and rehabilitation center. More.... Visit to Novinki boarding school for retarded children. More.... October Visit to the social center-based orphanage in Minsk. November Visit of D-r John Fr. Elwolde, UBS translating consultant, to the Bible Society. We entered on a final stage of our checking work on the translation made by Vl. Chernjavsky, and hope that the Bible in Belarusian will see the light next year. |
