Kamenetskaya accessorial boarding school, Mogilev region had sheltered 147 mentally challenged children ranging in age from 7 to 18.

Deputy Director Yelena Arkadjevna (photo) says, “I have worked here for 23 years. I always endeavor to treat the children with love, never shout at them, and the children always say “thank you for the lesson”. We teach the “ABC of mood” course in order to help the children to adjust themselves socially and morally to the world around them. It is very good that we are now able to use “Christian ABC” the Bible Society has presented us with”.

Natasha, 16 (on the right photo), has been taken to the boarding school nine years ago. Her parents are deprived of parental rights, and have never come to see her, never even phoned her… Natasha’s grandma and aunt sometimes visit the girl.
