Kapatkevichi home for the aged and the disabled is situated in Petrikov district, Gomel region and houses more than 350 people. The Christians from Mulyarovka, a village not far from Kapatkevichi, regularly visit the home together with their Sunday School pupils. They tell the inmates about God, and hold performances. The people take a different attitude to these visits. Some of them are happy to hear the Word of God and are grateful for the copies of the Gospel and the Psalms in large print, yet for others it is difficult to take to heart at once the things that has been methodically eradicated all their lives. Yet God’s Word wins their hearts.

Olga Adamenko, having a son and having brought up six orphans left without parents, was herself left without a roof overhead, so she found herself in this home. And it was here that Mrs. Adamenko learnt about God’s Word. She lost the use of her legs, and she felt lonely and abandoned by everyone, but not by God. The Lord comforts her through His Word and gives her strength for life.

Rayissa (on the right at the photo) came to Belarus from Central Asia and turned to God in this home for the aged as well.
