Central library in Smaljavichi
The library is situated at the town of Smaljavichi, Minsk region, and provides service for 1245 readers.
Tatjana Vladimirauna the staff member of the library says, "The majority of our readers are young people- pupils and students. They often write review abstracts on the history of Christianity, and so the Bibles are in great demand. We regularly hold "the lessons of spirituality" as we call it. We invite priests from the town church and gather the young people together. Now that we have the literature from the Bible Society we will be able to prepare more thoroughly for such meetings"

Lena, 23, graduated from the teacher's college half a year ago. In order to broaden her outlook and have an understanding of the questions related to the Bible Lena has decided to take the Bible and read it.
The correspondent (right photo) of the local newspaper "Smoljavichskij kraj" (Smaljavichi area) wanted to write an article about the Bibles having been provided for the library so that all residents of the town might have an access to the Holy Scriptures.
