"The feet of him who brings good tidings" (Nahum 1:15)
Multifaceted assistance to the Christian actively involved in the ministry of proclaiming the Gospel outside the churches for the sake of salvation of the lost souls of the fellow-countrymen. Description: The Bible Society has been constantly cooperating with the churches of different denominations and charitable organisations both church-related and secular. The staff members made a number of trips to children's homes, hospitals, homes for the old, rehabilitation centres and other establishments. Meeting the inmates and making home visits, we talk to people a lot, and these conversations give us many opportunities of telling them about Jesus Christ. They get interested in the Holy Scripture, and the need arises of presenting them with spiritual literature. We also keep developing the cooperation with the believers actively involved in the ministry of proclaiming the Good News outside the churches- among their friends, in hospitals, rehabilitation centres, in prisons, etc. The hearts of these dedicated Christians are full of zeal for preaching the Good News to lost souls, and they spare neither efforts nor means for accomplishing the Great Commission. It happens quite often that many people get together to see the ceremony of baptism held by the local churches. It is a great celebration, and, besides, a brilliant opportunity of telling the onlookers the Word of truth, and presenting them with the precious books containing the divine truths. Collaboration with Christian organizations and Bible Schools presents one more facet of the BS' activity. The Bible School of EFC Union (Evangelical Faith Christians) is one we maintain close contacts with. The students of the Bible School had accomplished the "Jesus heals and restores" studies, and, having been divided into five groups, they got involved in the ministry of evangelization, preaching the Gospel in all six regional centres of Belarus. Their service is a great contribution to the cause of expanding God's Kingdom. The divine message moves the hearts of the hearers, and they start seeking God. At the evangelization meetings they receive Christian brochures such as "Four Spiritual Laws", but those who strive for deep knowledge, need solid spiritual food. The books of the BS will help those people in satisfying their spiritual hunger. The testimonies of Anna The stories from the committed sisters in Christ
